| Me Some information about myself: Having moved to Illinois from the East Coast a few years back, I totally love it here. People continue to bust my chops about my accent. Some people believe I'm from an entirely different planet. But once you get past the accent (and the fact that I'm a Red Sox and Patriots fan) you'll find me to be open, honest and caring. I take pride in what I do and I'll treat you as one of my own family. That's not a line, it's the way I was raised. Since moving to Wauconda and starting Rusty's Home Repair, I have gotten more and more involved in the community. I am a member of the Wauconda Chamber of Commerce and the Wauconda Lion's Club. I have volunteered on Wauconda Fest for the last few years, and I enjoy getting involved with my Wife and Son Brendan on their Scouting events with Wauconda Troop 90 and Venture crew 2090. You can see some examples of my work around town, I have done repair and remodel projects for Wauconda Academy of Ballet, The Masonic Temple, Casten Auto Body, Progressive Components, and more! Why a Website? I wanted to create a web site that made people feel like they know me before they have ever met me! Is it working? Other Information Aside from starting a business in Wauconda, I also found a family! I was married 07/07/07 to "Miss Irene" who grew up here in town, and is known for her involvement in Wauconda Park District and as a substitute teacher. Along with a wife, I got an awesome stepson - Brendan! Brendan is a biology major at the University of Chicago; but when he is home, he is my apprentice! He has a great time helping me demolish walls and rebuild things, we have become great buddies. In my free time, I am a sports nut. I was raised on hockey skates, but now I am very involved in Golf, Bowling, and Softball. The whole family loves to play games, so you can usually find us outside in the summer, playing Bocce Ball or Baggo! My wife has even turned me into a camping enthusiast, and we love to take weekend trips around the area - tent camping, hiking and canoeing. We bought our own fixer-upper that gives me lots of projects at home too, and since we have lake rights, maybe our next hobby will be boating! Email Me! |
